Say No More, the 1972 debut album on Tartar Records, named by Nick Bollinger as one of the 100 Essential New Zealand Albums.
In 2019 Kiwi-Pacific Records International released all 16 tracks from both SAY NO MORE and REBIRTH on a single CD and also as digital music downloads.
Raised in Wellington’s rich musical underground Tamburlaine was born from British-style blues and the folk revival, and graduated from shouty, sweaty clubs to spellbinding larger concerts. In 1972 Tamburlaine songwriter Stephen Robinson won the APRA Silver Scroll Award with “Lady Wakes Up”.
